Reflecting on Transformation and Setting Intentions for the New Year

2024 was, without a doubt, the most transformative year of my life to date. I dove into it headfirst, which—truth be told—hurt a lot! But through the discomfort, I found growth. I focused on my health, both mental and physical, and took the time to look inward and explore what I want the next chapter of my life to look like. Along the way, I broke down walls that had been holding me back for years.

This year taught me an invaluable lesson: there is a deep wisdom within me. While I’ve often lacked the courage to listen to my intuition, I’ve started leading with my gut. And let me tell you—it’s been liberating. I have TBM and My Human Design to thank for this change!

As we step into 2025, I want to share a few non-negotiables that are keeping me healthy and happy. These habits are rooted in the privilege I now have to work from home, which has afforded me the time to prioritize me. I recognize this is not an easy balance to strike, and it took years of effort to get here. There was a time I spent two hours a day commuting; now, I use that time to nurture myself. Whether it’s a quick workout with Melissa Wood Health, a session in my sauna blanket, a long walk…or all of the above…I’m no longer apologizing for making my health a priority.

This mindset shift hasn’t just improved my health—it’s improved everything. It’s a reminder that when we pour into ourselves, we’re better equipped to pour into others.

So as we enter the new year, I encourage you to reflect on what you’re ready to let go of and what you’re committed to embracing. Maybe that’s more time for self-care, setting boundaries, or listening to your intuition. Whatever it is, give yourself permission to make your health and happiness a priority.

Here’s to a fresh start, new opportunities, and the courage to lead with our hearts in 2025. Cheers to a transformative and fulfilling year ahead!
