Flower Fairies
I saw this darling art project on one of my favorite children’s websites/blog/instagram called Babyccino. Since we are all stuck indoors these days, this was a fun activity with materials we had in our art cupboard and in our front yard.
Materias:
Paper
Leaves and
Paint or Crayons
Glue
Popsicle Stick - you really don’t need it but we used them
STEP 1: Cut out your fairy’s body ( two sides ) and let the kids get creative with decorating.
STEP2: Head to the yard and pick out some leaves that you can paint or draw on.
STEP 3: Once the body is dry, glue the leaves to the back as wings and twigs as antennas . I used a popsicle stick on the back of the body for a little structure, but you don’t need to.
STEP 4: Stick them to your windows with tape and enjoy!
