Keira in Kenya

For anyone who has been following me for a while, you will know I am a bit obsessed with Africa. I was lucky enough to travel there with World Odyssey some years ago (check out my TRAVEL page for the details) and am dying to go back.

Season after season I continue to find myself inspired by Africa’s neutral plains, the green of the trees, the crystal blue sky, and the overall style of the “safari” look. I hate to admit, but it’s also made its way into my everyday wardrobe along with my handbags.

I am not a fashion magazine gal. Not that I don’t like flipping through the pages of Vogue and Vanity Fair every now and again, but I truly am a jeans and blouse kind of girl and with a relaxed lifestyle in wine country, I’d rather don a great pair of boots than heels anyday. That said, my ALL time favorite photo shoot EVER was Keira Knightley in Vogue. Honestly, what’s not to love?
