Sunburst Totes
I took my new found love of natural dyes and decided to make a few tote bags. A couple didn’t turn out, but I love the ones that did!
After I fixed the canvas with alum, I tied each piece up with rubber bands and let it soak in a dye bath of Turmeric and hot water for a couple of hours. Once I removed the rubber bands and rinced the fabric, I tossed it into the washing machine and viola, Sunburst Tote Bags!
