Star Wands

Every child deserves a wand, at least I think so! I made my first batch of star wands as Waylon’s first birthday party favor. Since most of the children were a few years older, I thought they would enjoy a little something different. The idea stuck and I have been making them ever since.

With a few things, you have hours of entertainment.

• Leather or fabric

• Batting - if using fabric

• Glue

• Star cookie cutter - or just draw a star and cut it out.

• A stick from the yard.

Cut out 2 stars and glue them together leaving some room for the stick. Stuff the fabric with batting if needed. Add a touch of glue to the end of the stick and put in inside the star and press firmly until it’s secure. That’s all you need for a little fun!
